6. Must ( subjectiveness)
"Must" has two meanings.

(1)
a. Obligation ( subjectiveness - objective meaning)
b. Necessity (subjectiveness)

Moreover, this does not have the past tense. (This was the past tense itself.) It is used in the sequence of tense as it is, but "had to" is used in the others instead. See the following examples.

(2)
a.*He must compete against her for the managerial position.
b. He had to compete against her for the managerial position.

(2a) is unacceptable as the past.
